Sanjay Srivastava

Chief Digital Officer

Sanjay Srivastava is senior vice president and Chief Digital Officer for Genpact. He is responsible for Genpact’s digital technology strategy and implementation, overseeing the software and services that the company provides to its clients – in key areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), cognitive computing, dynamic workflow, and mobility. Genpact’s Digital team helps clients re-imagine their business operations with innovative, advanced technologies that drive transformative business outcomes using the company’s unique Lean DigitalSM approach that leverages lean principles, digital, analytics, design thinking methodologies, and domain expertise.

Sanjay joined Genpact in 2011 with the company’s acquisition of Akritiv Technologies, Inc., where he was founder and CEO, and led the integration of Akritiv’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for finance and accounting into Genpact’s services portfolio. He comes from the high tech industry with deep experience across the technology stack, both in general management at large corporations as well as founding and running high-tech startups. As an entrepreneur, Sanjay helped build four companies from concept through to successful exits: in internet streaming, then data center automation, later enterprise application software, and most recently, cloud-based SaaS. He also previously held leadership roles in large technology corporations, starting as director of Product Management at Hewlett Packard (HP), then vice president of Enterprise Services at Akamai, and most recently senior vice president at SunGard Data Systems.

Based in Silicon Valley, California, Sanjay received his graduate degree from the University of Minnesota and earned his undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology. He is widely involved in industry forums around cloud technologies, cognitive computing, and big data, and has been named one of Treasury and Risk Management magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in Finance.
