About Katie
Katie Stein is Genpact’s Chief Strategy Officer and Global Business Leader of the Enterprise Services and Analytics businesses.
As chief strategy officer, Katie leads the development and execution of Genpact’s corporate strategy, including the company’s focus on priority service lines and the realignment of its product and solution portfolio. She also is a leader in Genpact’s merger and acquisition activities.
As global business leader of Genpact’s Enterprise Services, she leads the company’s core services portfolio encompassing all functions, including finance and accounting, order management, source to pay, supply chain, and enterprise risk. She also leads Genpact’s strategy in Experience.
As global business leader of the Analytics business, Katie focuses on defining and meeting the growing transformation needs of our clients, with a focus on leveraging data and analytics to derive actionable insights for meaningful business outcomes.
Katie also serves on the board of directors of CTG, a leading provider of digital transformation IT solutions and services.
During her 20-year career, Katie has developed deep expertise in strategy, corporate development and change management. She has worked with start-ups, a strategy consulting firm, and Fortune 500 environments to create, build, and drive strategies to grow revenue, enhance shareholder value, and secure market leadership.
She joined Genpact from Mercer, where she spent more than six years in a variety of senior roles and most recently was partner, market business leader – Retirement for the East Market. Prior to that, Katie worked with the Boston Consulting Group, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and MarketBridge Consulting. She also has a long record of multi-cultural experiences, having worked across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Katie has a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
