Ed Fitzpatrick is senior client advisor at Genpact.
Ed works with chief financial officers and other C-suite executives to address emerging areas of transformation in finance. He helps executives identify strategies necessary to reposition their companies and recalibrate for the future, relying on Genpact’s deep technology and domain expertise to deliver scale at speed. Ed’s work with senior client executives is done in close collaboration with Genpact’s Sales, Transformation Services, and vertical leadership teams.
Prior to his current role, Ed served as chief financial officer at Genpact from 2014 to August 2021. During that time, Ed was instrumental in modernizing the finance function across all dimensions.
Ed is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience. Before joining Genpact, he served as chief financial officer for Motorola Solutions Inc. (NYSE: MSI). Prior to this, Ed was the chief financial officer of Motorola, Inc. and helped lead the spin-off transaction that created Motorola Solutions and Motorola Mobility. Before his 13-year tenure with Motorola, he worked for General Instrument Corporation and Price Waterhouse, LLP.
Ed’s experience includes oversight of financial strategy, finance operations, investor relations, tax, treasury, information technology, information security, procurement, real estate, logistics, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ed received a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University. Ed earned his Certified Public Accountant certification in 1990.
