SVP & Business Leader, Analytics & Research
Rohit Tandon is senior vice president and business leader of Genpact’s Analytics and Research business. In this capacity, he is focused on driving the continued growth of the Analytics business which encompasses the further development of digital- and domain-led solutions to help Genpact’s client base harness big data and analytical insights. This is Rohit’s third “act” at Genpact, having previously served as Genpact’s Analytics business leader as well as head of Six Sigma, Transitions, and Digitization.
Rohit rejoins Genpact with more than 25 years of leadership experience across the BPO, analytics, IT, consulting, digital, and advertising sectors. In his most recent role, he was vice president and worldwide sales leader for Technology Services installed base at HP. During his tenure with HP, he was also the vice president, Strategy and Worldwide Head for HP Global Analytics where he helped drive the Analytics ecosystem to support HP’s vision and priorities through the delivery of cutting-edge analytical capabilities across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and HR domains.
Beginning his career as an entrepreneur, Rohit worked for Accenture for almost seven years and then for GE in leadership roles including Six Sigma Leader and CIO of GE India. Following GE India, he then moved to Genpact to lead the Analytics business for several years, after which he became the executive vice president at IBM’s Global Processing Services unit where he was responsible for strategy, IT, quality and transformation before joining HP.
Based in Palo Alto, California, Rohit has a master’s degree in Computer Application (MCA) from the Institute of Management and Technology, Ghaziabad and is a computer science graduate from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. He is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Certified Quality Leader in Six Sigma. He also jointly holds a patent for optimization algorithms that he designed.
