Mark Verdi is chief financial officer of Bain. Prior to joining Bain, Mark was a partner at AVALT Holdings, a family office focused on private equity that he co-founded in 2015 with three former partners from Bain Capital.
 

Earlier in his career, Mark served as president of C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. and as a managing director at Bain Capital.
 

Before Bain Capital, Mark worked for IBM Global Services, where he played a leadership role in the acquisition and integration of the consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers into IBM. He also led the global Financial Services Business Transformation Outsourcing Group at IBM.
 

Mark previously served on the boards of Burlington Stores, Inc., Trinseo S.A., and Bloomin' Brands Inc.
 

Mark received a master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School. He also received a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Vermont.
