Report recognizes our autonomous finance vision, agentic finance solutions, and shift to outcome-based commercial models

Finance is moving from labor-led delivery to software-like services. CFOs no longer want to trade liquidity for cost savings, or control for growth. They want all four, at once.

Leading global analyst firm HFS Research has positioned Genpact as a Horizon 3 Market Leader in its HFS Horizons: F&A Services-as-Software, 2026 report. HFS evaluated 17 service providers on how well they re-architect finance services into configurable, continuously operating layers that create new sources of value. The report recognizes how we operationalize autonomous finance, helping CFOs shift from managing transactions to driving business outcomes.

The report calls out our:

  • Vision for autonomous finance as a growth catalyst: We believe autonomous finance powers better enterprise decisions, workforce transformation, and business growth, not just efficiency

  • Process-first approach to AI: We redesign processes before we automate them, so clients fix the root cause instead of automating inefficiency

  • Agentic Operating Model: It combines governance, workforce evolution, operational controls, and clear metrics to scale machine-led, human-validated finance operations

  • Agentic finance solutions powered by AI Maestro: Our solutions link technology investments directly to CFO priorities like faster close, stronger controllership, scalability, and cost efficiency, creating a clear path to value

  • Client and partner kudos: Clients recognize our finance expertise, operational excellence, and automation-led delivery. Partners value our process expertise, mature delivery model, and customer-centric approach

  • Shift to non-FTE commercial models: Around 50% of our F&A revenues already come from transaction, outcome, hybrid, and platform-based pricing. We're working toward nearly 100% over time

HFS also names Genpact as one of its AI-enabled operations providers. That's one of seven archetypes HFS uses to show how providers stand out as their technology stacks converge. Our position is built on scale, flagship IP, and solutions such as our Agentic Accounts Payable Suite, Agentic Record-to-Report Suite, Enterprise360, and AI Gigafactory.

The recognition comes as value in finance moves up the chain. HFS estimates AI will shrink the transaction-processing value pool by 30% to 50%, while decision-centric value pools grow 2 to 3 times. Client demand reflects this. Of the client references HFS surveyed, 86% rank AI in finance as a top priority for the next 12 to 18 months. With delivery excellence now table stakes, HFS finds the market is being won on proactive innovation, commercial models, and outcomes clients can measure.

The report shows Genpact is well positioned to help CFOs close that gap by moving agentic AI from pilots into production and making finance the engine of enterprise decisions.
