Vijay Vijayasankar is the Global Agentic AI Officer at Genpact. He leads the development and integration of Genpact’s agentic AI capabilities, uniting advanced technology and deep domain expertise to redefine how enterprises operate. Building on an extensive product roadmap, Vijay is focused on defining and driving the execution of Genpact’s vision to rapidly deliver innovative agentic solutions through deep partnerships across data and AI, go-to-market, and delivery.

Vijay joins Genpact from IBM Consulting, where he spent more than a decade in leadership roles across industry, sales, partnerships, and technology. Most recently, he served as Managing Partner for IBM’s Financial Services market in the Americas, having previously led large client relationships and served as CTO of IBM Services in North America.

Prior to IBM, Vijay worked at MongoDB, where he grew the channels portfolio to become the largest ecosystem among NoSQL vendors, and at SAP Labs, where he worked in the Office of the CTO and led multiple HANA initiatives.

Vijay holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Kerala, India.
