Inviting applications for the role of AWS Application Architect

Application Architect is responsible for the design of applications that will be deployed in Cloud. App Architect should have hands on experience with the design and implementation of multi-tier architecture.

Bangalore / Noida, India

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-tier architecture solution that is highly available and fault-tolerant using AWS EKS, API gateway, RDS, and other platform services
• Strategizing with prospects and customers to develop solutions based on a variety of criteria including a clear description of services, functionality, scalability, futureproofing, and cost.
• Implement application architecture solutions that address cloud security and compliance fundamentals, deployment automation and elastic sizing of environments, and multi-tenant implications
• Proactively investigate and suggest the use of new technologies that help with gaining efficiencies

Minimum qualifications

• Experience supporting sales opportunities through their life cycle including qualification, discovery, solution design, customer presentations, business case development & RFP Responses
• Experience with application modernization and replatform for public cloud
• Experience with application architecture in AWS, specifically with EKS, API gateway, ingress controller, PV/PVCs, network security policies, and RDS for Postgres
• Auto-scaling of Kubernetes using Kubernetes Auto-scaling, open-source carpenter
• Create, deploy, and secure Docker images, ECR with multi-region support
• Hands on experience with gathering software/hardware requirements and mapping to the required Cloud services/resources
• Hands on experience with the design of pipelines for deploying, managing, and patching of applications in Cloud
• Knowledge of Security as it relates to Cloud Environments including the Shared Security Model

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience with one or more Public Clouds (AWS / Azure)
• Knowledge of automation and management tools (Terraform, CFTs, Spectro Cloud)
• Knowledge about Virtual Machines. Container concepts would be a plus
• Knowledge of version control/change management tools (GitLab, Subversion)
• Knowledge of Flexera, Go Lang, Kong API gateway, WSO2
