Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, MicroStrategy

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis design, build, implementation, and support tasks
  • Meet business requirements while performing MicroStrategy project design
  • Perform analysis & development to build MicroStrategy schema objects, reports & dashboards.
  • Generate appropriate unit test plans and assure the quality of work.
  • Produce technical design documentation
  • Contribute towards the database design by collaborating with BI & Data Analysts and Data Modelers
  • Provide support for all phases of testing such as integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with other team members in crafting efficient, maintainable, and scalable MicroStrategy architecture, dashboards, and reports
  • Follow enterprise standards and guidelines during the phases of the development lifecycle
  • Encouraged to be proactive in identifying issues and opportunities that will have an impact on the business use of MicroStrategy and provide recommendations to leadership and business partners as appropriate
  • Provide MicroStrategy administration support of the environment and share knowledge with peers
  • Serve as partner concern point for application support and troubleshooting
  • Provide mentorship and direction to less experienced staff in the resolution of issues & problems
  • Establish process rigor and should be a transformation evangelist
  • Flexibility to work in shifts as per regional requirements
  • Accurately perceive, understand, and seek problems for better delivery
  • Executes BCP plans for applications, coordinates logistics for plan implementations

 

 

 

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant software engineering and MicroStrategy experience

 

  Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Relevant relational database experience and technical documentation and publication experience
  • Demonstration and presentation facilitation skills along with good SQL development and performance tuning skills
  • Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot database\ODBC connectivity issues
  • Ability to supervise, troubleshoot and document issues and work with Vendor support
  • MicroStrategy Administration experience with Version upgrades
  • Candidate with Consumer Banking or Financial services experience
  • Windows' server experience
