Inviting applications for the role of Engg.Tools DevOps System Admin
- Expert level of understanding and manage how the Tools / DevOps tools work well with the host operating system. Troubleshooting skills.
- Complete Knowledge of containerization technologies like docker and how to use it in CI/CD
- Focus on establishing self-service practices for the development teams supported.
- Collaborate with development teams to build and develop standards of the toolset.
- Provide day to day administration and support & troubleshooting of the DevOps toolset.
- Experience with any source control tools (TFS, SVN, Gitlab, etc.)
- Experience using Tools - DevOps tools that support software development (ex: Jenkins, Sonar, Colloborator, Coverity, Perforce etc.)
- Experience performing administrative tasks in different platforms a plus: Windows or Unix/Linux.
- Automation Experience in writing scripts like bash / CSH/ Perl / Python / PowerShell / Javascript
- Software development / Automation experience. Automation/scripting languages (Must)
- Proven experience working as SCM Tools Admin
- Check the application and system level metrics like memory, cpu, disk space are looking good. Understand what to look at where eg Grafana dashboard or metrics systems. Ensure log rotation and purge scripts are automated and working as encouraged.
- Establish and maintain detailed documentation of your work; assist with review of technical specifications’ documentation
- Ability to work independently and willing to learn new tools & technologies.
- Outstanding drive, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately supply in a team environment
- Responsible for end-to-end configuration & delivering projects, providing reports and dashboards with various development teams & leadership.
- Responsible for analyzing, implementing, testing, and/or supporting technology-enabled business solutions for clients high-talent team passionate about over-delivering to the customer’s expectations.
- Ability to Drive conf calls to answer questions, provide support to the teams globally, train teams 1-1 or small group settings as needed on tool usage.
- Work across businesses and drive improvement initiatives – identify easy opportunities, assimilate standard methodologies and help speed up implementation of the same in accounts.
- Superb communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Flexibility (Willingness to Change) - Adapts efficiently to changing plans and priorities - Is open and flexible when faced with changing circumstances
- Proficient knowledge in test automation in evaluating the tools and feasibility study
- Must have a customer service demeanor

Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
