Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, AWS
Role:
- An independent AWS Cloud Technical Consultant who can work independently being part of KTLO & Enhancements team for various commercial pharma data warehouse
- Work closely with Onshore Technical Architect, Offshore Delivery Lead, Business users, IT leadership, developers, database administrators, and client vendors to run the KTLO & enhancements of DWH for one of our key North America Pharma client
Responsibilities:
Required Skills:
- Excellent knowledge on AWS Cloud platform as a whole and the integrations among different Cloud components and using one or more of AWS data and analytics services in combination with Spark, EMR, DynamoDB, RedShift, Athena, Lambda, Glue, Snowflake
- Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using any programming language like Java, Python, Scala
- Design and implement data engineering, ingestion and curation functions on AWS cloud using AWS native or custom programming
- Perform detail assessments of current state data platforms and create an appropriate transition path to AWS cloud.
- Should have good experience in database, datawarehouse concepts, SCD1, SDC2, SQLs
- Design, implement and support an analytical data infrastructure providing ad-hoc access to large datasets and computing power
- Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
- Creation and support of real-time data pipelines built on AWS technologies including Glue, Redshift/Spectrum, Kinesis, EMR and Athena
- Working closely with team members to drive real-time and batch model implementations for monitoring and alerting of risk systems.
- Collaborate with other tech teams to implement advanced analytics algorithms that exploit our rich datasets for statistical analysis, prediction, clustering and machine learning
- Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
- Data modeling, diverse schema mid-high knowledge should be useful to pick-up other ETL tools on-demand
- Decent knowledge in usage, accessing of ServiceNow, Infa support, share point.
- Experience in life sciences/healthcare domain
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) in addition to strong project management skills
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under challenging timelines
- Flexible timing and working experience with offshore-onshore model
Qualifications/ Minimum qualifications:
- B. Tech or Equivalent Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Has experience in AWS S3, Athena, Glue, EMR, DynamoDB, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Snowflake. Overall Proficient in AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB
- ETL design and development
- SQL queries, Data migration
- Communication Skills
