Requirements:

Looking for Informatica Administrator with good experience in administration and Architecture of 8.6.x & 9.x. The - Informatica Administrator will be responsible for providing mission critical support.

The ideal candidate should have good experience as an engineer responsible for deployment of ETL solutions

Job Description:

• Working with Informatica 9.1 suit.
• Informatica Code deployment to Production
• Working with Informatica support team to fix the issues in Production servers
• Creating Relational connections using Informatica Workflow Manger
• Workflow Job Monitoring using Informatica Workflow Monitor
• Batch script creation for Informatica Jobs
• Having knowledge third party scheduling tool to schedule Informatica Jobs (Cron Job, Cronacle)
• Having good analytical skills in analyzing the Informatica Job failures.
• Having good SQL knowledge using Oracle/SQL Server 2008
• Having knowledge on Cognos/OBIEE/BO Admin will be added advantage

Education Required:

UG - Any Graduate,

PG - Any PG Course

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining Informatica systems software and the runtime environment
• Informatica Administrator will have strong experience with Informatica 8.6.x & 9.x Architecture/Server Administration
• Strong experience with upgrade of Informatica PowerCenter from v8.6.1 to v.9.1
• Strong experience in Migrating the Informatica from Windows to Linux
• Informatica Administrator will provide technical support for the Informatica environment
• Ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance
• Work with developers to advise on standards and tool usage
• Responsible for Backup / Recovery of Informatica software, repository and configurations
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment diagrams and checklists
• Conduct research into Informatica related issues and working with developers and the vendor when necessary
• Strong Experience with Informatica 9.1 server administration and good ETL development with PowerCenter.
• Experience with Oracle 11g and SQL Server 2008.
• Strong in Informatica repository performance tuning ETL development background with PowerCenter 8.6.x/9.x
• Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 and Linux
• Experience working with multi-tiered, multi-region architectures within shared services and/or BI competency centers
