Consultant - Snowflake Developer

Inviting applications for the role of Snowflake Developer

The candidate will work as a Snowflake Architect with team of Quantitative Analyst and Modelers, as well as various other business and technology units.  The individual will be part of an Agile team working closely with team members in India.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and configure Snowflake process to meet business requirements
  • Develop ETL programs primarily using Matillion (not limited to S3 Unload, Data transfer, SFTP Put Object, File Iterator, etc.)
  •  

Required Skills:

  •  Data Warehouse and ETL development
  • Snowflake data warehouse and ETL development including Snowflake Bulk Loading, SnowPipe, Unloading, working with semi-structured data, external tables, zero copy clones, user management, task scheduling, setting up notifications etc.
  • Matillion ETL/ELT development on Azure or AWS (connecting to various on-premise and cloud data sources, processing structured and semi-structured data etc.)
  • Strong SQL coding and performance tuning skills
  • Hands on Experience on crafting CDC, SCD implementation
  • Perform detail assessments of current state data platforms (AWS/SQL Server) and create an appropriate transition path to Snowflake.
  • Data modeling, Capability to pick-up other ETL tools on-demand
  • Flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment
  • Experience in AWS S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift 
  • Decent knowledge in usage, accessing of ServiceNow, share point
  • Demonstrated communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under challenging timelines
  • Flexible timing and working experience with offshore-onshore model
