Inviting applications for the role of SM, Business Lean Coach – Operational Controllership
Lean senior professional responsible for transforming Genpact OC and client results through the application of lean principles. The Lean coach will work closely as a partner with the OC Finance service line to implement Lean practices, driving both a change in operating mindset and ensuring Lean principles are applied effectively in support of operational business plans. Alongside this, working closely with the aligned business to drive towards common Lean goals and objectives in a ‘One Team’ mindset. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop lean proficiency among OC Finance team members via strong coaching, while establishing and deploying standards to improve processes within the team with a focus on elimination of non-value-added activity.
The Business Lean Coach for OC Finance will operate as a facilitator, trainer, coach and accountability partner to the OC leadership and team members to drive the understanding and application of Lean principles and tools. The OC teams are currently early stages of the cultural adoption of lean as an operating enabler and acceleration is required.   The OC Business Lean Coach will:
•    Partner with both OC operational leaders and business finance leaders to prioritize and solve problems based on voice of the customer related to safety, quality, delivery and cost through the application of lean.
•    Partner with OC operational and business finance leaders, coaching a vast range of team members throughout the function continuously developing individual and team capability in their understanding and application of lean tools and techniques. 
•    Utilise value stream analysis and Kaizen methodology to understand and execute process redesign, eliminating non-value-added activity, improving accuracy and reducing process lead time.
•    Collaborate with other OC Business Lean coaches across businesses to assess value streams, processes and practices as compared to lean company benchmarks, sharing best practice and work collaboratively as a team to advance and execute on taxonomy learnings and improvements.
•    Support the OC operational leaders and teams to establish a kaizen event rhythm and leverage that activity to develop lean proficiency for all employees; creating internal capabilities to facilitate kaizens and sustain continuous process improvement in the longer term (without external support).
•    Assist teams in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), Bowlers and implementing daily management and monthly operating reviews (MOR) to drive continuous improvement within their function.
•    Work with the OC lean Leader in establishing and improving standards, tools, templates and provide outcome-based learning solutions. 
•    Be a coach to OC operational leaders and team members in the execution of their Lean development plans and roadmaps. Develop and deliver Lean training at all levels of the organisation.
•    Continue to support the Region assigned/based in by working closely with the Regional operational leader, driving Lean training and testing, coaching GB and BB project teams, support in the sign-off of projects and advocating local teams to adopt a lean culture.
•    Develop a platform to share and institutionalise best practices.
•    Bachelors/Masters degree in any technical, analytical or business domain
•    Five-plus years of experience as a Lean coach with proven experience in lean transformation, demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement yielding Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost based solutions
•    Demonstrated ability in solving process related problems and transforming process performance through the application of Lean techniques.
•    An experienced Lean practitioner or BB, with a solid understanding and experience of the Lean toolkit - capable of facilitating kaizen events and coaching the core tools such as Daily Visual Management, structured Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, etc.
•    Specific experience reducing non-value-added activity from transactional value streams with collaboration and facilitations to drive accountability at the point of impact.
•    The ideal candidate has experienced complex change as a team member and tough situations; bringing resilience, a will to win with proven capability of leading through influence and change management at all levels of the organisation.
•    Proven to be effective driving outcomes in large, matrixed organizations – understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, relationships, etc. Can drive work around the world/globally because they are accountable, trustworthy, credible and committed.
•    Impactful communicator at all levels in the organization.
•    A creative thinker able to define new and engaging ways to enhance collaboration, engagement and communication across multiple team members and functions.
•    Change agent, able to make the case for lean and demonstrate immediate impact.
•    Highly collaborative person, comfortable with conflict and debate normally associated with change.
•    Desirable: understanding and experience of agile tools such as Miro, Jira, Mentimeter, etc.
