Inviting applicants for the role of Vice President , RTR Insurance
Help build a good F&A function in Insurance that provides current and prospective clients with leading industry standard methodologies in F&A, solutions to improve their Accounting and Reporting functions, crafting collateral/IP to continue as a leader among service providers, and actively drive winning new deals.
Responsibilities
- Lead F&A discussions with clients in Insurance with its subject matter specialists and leadership
- Participate in proposals, transformation projects, solutions, and other projects
- Assist in the implementation of standard methodologies in different accounts
- Develop and drive standard methodologies framework, case studies, benchmarking for F&A processes, collaterals to become a leading provider of F&A service for clients
- Subject Matter Specialist will own the designing of effective end to finance and accounting framework to improve metrics and cost efficiency of F&A processes including businesses viz. Property & Casualty, Life insurance, broking, Reinsurance, etc.
- Experience in functional areas including but not limited to technical accounting, reinsurance accounting, premium and claims accounting, external reporting, regulatory reporting, investment accounting, treasury, insurance premium tax, etc.
- Actively engage with CEO, CFO, Global controller to understand customer pain points, perform diagnostics and commercialize the product offering
- Engage and execute on engagements with Fortune 500 organizations in Insurance around crafting outstanding F&A processes
- Craft common operational framework to enable stability, consistency and efficiency of F&A processes at Genpact
- Providing direction and mentor to the Practice team for the delivery of the goals
- Assist in the implementation of practices in different accounts
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications/skills
- CPA with F&A demonstrated ability Accounting and Reporting
- Experience in Insurance F&A in leading companies with experience in business verticals viz. Property & casualty, Life insurance, broking, Reinsurance, etc.
- Prior solutioning and transformation experience
- Experience in setting up, re-engineering or crafting a shared service for F&A
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment very collaboratively
- Influencing skills, Creative thinking/innovative mind-set
- Commercially Savvy and ability to interact with CXO level
Preferred qualifications/skills
- Hands on experience in identifying and implementing tools and technologies for improving F&A process efficiency desired
