Inviting applications for the role of Consultant- API Developer 

Responsibilities

Responsible to analyze, develop or maintain, test, implement and document programs according to specifications and client standards.

• Determines, analyzes, and transforms business requirements to produce design specifications on the system and programming levels.
• Identify all possible test scenarios and prepare and execute unit/system testing for the systems developed.
• Assists in the preparation of System Test plans to ensure the quality of system being delivered to the business community.
• Executes test plans during development and system testing and performs other testing required to ensure that system developed reflects user requirement/design.
• Provides support in the system test, user test, and production environments including analysis of defects/production problems.
• Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training and tutorial for end users.
• Provides post-implementation and production support for supported systems including analysis of production problems raised by business users.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

• SDLC
• Agile methodologies
• Insurance principles and terminology knowledge
• Products, Policies and Procedures knowledge

Preferred qualifications

• WebMethods / Java / VB.Net / API
• Expert programming skills in at least one of the supported client platforms
• Competent systems analysis and design skills
• Able to apply client's SDLC
• Strong experience in identifying areas for improvement/enhancement on existing system module or entire system and on new ones being developed
