Senior Manager - Post Trade Operations

We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Post Trade Ops Lead 

Responsibilities
•    Senior Team Lead - Manage daily BAU activities for all Post Trade activities which include (but not limited to) market Settlements, Corporate Actions processing & Reconciliations 
•    Experience with US, UK, European & Asian markets for Fixed Income, Equities, Futures & FX
•    Be the key escalation point and ops lead for all market related operational issues between onshore and offshore teams
•    Ensure all daily BAU activities are being performed and managed to the desired SLA & KPI targets 
•    Escalate potential issues to the relevant senior stakeholders
•    Manage conflicts and bottlenecks to ensure daily settlements
•    Be the SME with regards to all activities relating to Post Trade Operations
•    Produce, own & manage all MIS reportable to senior stakeholders
•    Attend senior level meetings and give updates on all Post Trade activities
•    Manage senior team leads and actively engage, drive and implement process improvements as well as key metrics
•    Project Coordination
•    Business Facilitation: 
o    Functional process decomposition 
o    Business and systems requirements collection 
o    Business problem solution development 
•    Deliverable Creation: 
o    Production of high-quality project documentation 
o    Communication and presentation of deliverables to client 

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications/skills
•    Candidate must have F&A background in Capital markets, with in-depth experience of operations
•    Experience in Compensation Control & Product Control would be added advantage
•    Candidates should have experience of leading team(s) in broker dealer firms / relevant organizations
•    Finance leader 
•    Relevant experience in BCM (specifically around operations business continuity) 
•    Excellent problem-solving skills
•    Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
•    Excellent verbal and written presentation communication skills
•    Consulting project delivery – timeline and milestone management, stakeholder relationship management
•    Creative thinking / innovative mind set
•    Good business acumen and understanding of business issues across multiple sectors
•    Bachelor’s degree required 
•    Knowledge combined with a suite of methods and frameworks to deliver sustainable long-term solutions
•    Product knowledge & Policies governing the process
•    Cash applications Management and related challenges
 
Preferred qualifications/skills
 MBA preferred with relevant F&A
