NEW YORK, April 26, 2010: Genpact (NYSE: G), a leader in managing business processes, has been named one of the winners of LOMA’s Excellence in Education (EIE) awards for 2010. Receiving this award for the sixth time since 2001, Genpact is recognized for its outstanding work in developing its insurance expertise through the use of LOMA's professional education and learning programs.

To be eligible for the Excellence in Education award, a company must be a regular, associate, or affiliate member of LOMA, and surpass a minimum number of examinations during the previous calendar year. Other criteria include: exceptional pass rates for LOMA examinations (historically an average of 85 percent or higher), growth in LOMA examination enrollments from the previous year, and ongoing support and promotion of LOMA educational programs.

Genpact ensures that its insurance experts are ahead the curve in terms of professional development, trends, and market drivers. In 2009 alone, the company earned nearly 200 certifications and nine employees completed their Associate, Life Management Institute and Fellow, Life Management Institute (ALMI/FLMI) Certification. To date, Genpact has earned 1452 certifications and developed 41 ALMI/FLMI employees.

"We are always impressed by the quest for excellence demonstrated in the extraordinary educational achievements of our member companies," stated Kathy Milligan, FLMI, ACS, vice president, Education & Training, LOMA. "LOMA Education Award winners understand the importance of employee education in today's competitive market, and they realize that professional development is crucial to both an employee's success and an organization's bottom line. We congratulate Genpact along with our other award recipients for their accomplishments".

LOMA, one of the leading life insurance and financial services industry professional associations, awards approximately 75 of its more than 1,200 member companies with this distinguished honor each year. Genpact will receive this award at the Education Recognition Luncheon on Monday, September 13, 2010, at LOMA’s Annual Conference & Conferment in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Genpact is extremely honored to be recognized with this award because it validates our focus on industry and domain excellence, employee development, knowledge, and client success in this market,” said Mohit Thukral, senior vice president, Banking, Insurance and Financial Services (BFSI) at Genpact. “LOMA is such a valuable part of the growth and education in the life insurance industry, and we are grateful to be closely involved in LOMA’s activities, events, and educational programs.
