SVP & Chief Growth Officer
Ahmed Mazhari serves as senior vice president and Chief Growth Officer for Genpact, where he oversees Global Sales, Marketing, Partnerships and Alliances, and the Transitions function for client engagements. Prior to being appointed to his expanded role, he was head of Global Sales and Client Relationships for the past three years, where he has had overall responsibility for the company’s revenue growth across all industry verticals, products, service lines, and geographies. Ahmed has significantly strengthened the sales strategy in line with client needs and expectations, working closely with business leaders and the sales team to build the sales pipeline, expanding the sales team by attracting the right caliber of talent, and driving sales force effectiveness for both existing and new accounts.
Prior to leading Global Sales, Ahmed led sales, marketing and client relationships for Genpact’s European business where he successfully drove the sales and marketing strategy and growth for the region and integrated specialized expertise gained through the company’s acquisitions in the geography. He has more than 22 years of experience ranging from client management and global delivery of business process management services to setting up Genpact’s European delivery operations. Before leading sales in Europe, Ahmed led Genpact’s set-up of delivery centers in Europe, from site strategy and infrastructure set-up to operational launch.
Ahmed is regarded as an expert in the field of outsourcing, regularly speaking at leading industry events on the topic. He began his career at Xerox and during his six-year tenure there, he held a variety of roles in cost accounting and pricing, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
Based in the U.K., Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India.
